Hey,
Happy Wednesday!
When I wrote my first DFA email last week, I said I and the new team would “undoubtedly make mistakes”.
Well, I wasn’t expecting
to acknowledge those mistakes in my second message!
We had some teething issues which meant some of you didn’t get that first
email — sorry!
Worry not, though, you can read it here. It outlines the changes happening at The Dog Food Advisor.
Those who did get it, got it a day early, which made my “Happy Wednesday!” greeting look very silly. Thanks to everyone who, with great humor, pointed this out!
On behalf of the team, I also want to thank the hundreds of you who replied with messages of support and encouragement. They were genuinely heartwarming and lifted
our spirits.
I know, too, that Mike was deeply touched by the wishes many of you sent him.
Last week’s malfunction showed we can all make mistakes when faced with something large and complicated — indeed
it’s a handy metaphor for choosing dog food.
No dog parent will instantly and instinctively know which food to buy because the
choice is overwhelming — so many brands, so many varieties, so much information, so much marketing.
We will all make mistakes. And that’s OK. Don’t ever beat yourself up about your decisions — we do everything for our dogs with the best of intentions.
At The Dog Food Advisor, we want to take some of that weight off, which is why we have An Insider’s Guide to Finding Superior Dog Food Brands. This is a crash course in choosing a dog food brand.
And, of course, for those wanting to cut to the chase, we have our Best Dog Food pages which list our favorites in many
different categories.
Hopefully, I haven’t repeated the mistakes of last week and you all get this email on a Wednesday — otherwise, I’m going to need a crash course of my own!
Until next time,
