The latest Friday round-up of news, tips and offers from The Dog Food Advisor team.
Hey,
It’s Friday! Apologies to those who work weekends but I do love a Friday.
And as it’s Friday, it’s time for our end-of-week round-up of news, deals, tips, suggestions and the like.
We’ve
got March’s best dog dental chews below but we’ll begin with a reminder of some great savings you can get on 5-star-rated dog foods.
Reminder: we are not paid to promote these brands and they are reviewed in the same way as every other dog food on the site.
But they are all good dog foods and we think letting you know about discounts and deals — some of which we negotiated on your behalf and
are exclusive to DFA — is a valuable service. So here they are!
We’re also not saying that these are the best foods you can feed your dogs. There are plenty of 4- and 5-star foods on our Best Dog Food pages to suit all tastes and budgets.
Next up is our writer Sophie’s selection of March’s Best Dental Chews. As always, she’s tried to avoid any nasty additives.
There’ll be a new list every month — there are so many great dental chews — so don’t worry if your favorites aren’t here. Indeed, suggestions are always welcome.
Remember, while dental chews don’t replace teeth cleaning, they’re an excellent day-to-day addition to your dog’s dental care routine.
Sophie says: “Even the most stubborn of dogs will love cleaning their teeth with tasty Brushers. The unique design helps to reduce plaque and the natural recipe is free from artificial colors or preservatives.”
“Available in four sizes and packing a minty fresh flavor, these treats will be a favorite with our doggy friends. They’re also made with digestible ingredients and without any rawhide.”
“A dental chew that’s made with anxious pooches in mind. Not only will these chews clean your dog’s teeth, they also contain natural, calming ingredients such as hemp and chamomile.”
“Help your furry friend get their protein hit with these natural treats, containing beef, pea flour and farm-raised chicken. Their coat will also be helped by the coconut glycerin.”
“Never turn away another doggy smooch with these dental chews. The double-brush design cleans teeth, while the real pumpkin flavor improves bad breath."
Well, that’s it for this week. Wishing you and your dogs a wonderful weekend.
Until next
time,
Andrew
