Carolina Prime Pet, Inc. of Lenoir, NC is voluntarily recalling five varieties of its jerky pet treats due to potential Salmonella contamination.

There have been no confirmed reports of illness as a result of the ingestion of one of these products, as no contaminated products were sold to customers. The initial recall was caused by a customer, Hollywood Feed, reporting that the products had tested positive for Salmonella.
