Hey, Happy Wednesday! I met a friend yesterday evening. We
went to see a film, then had a catch-up over a beer. A large chunk of our conversation was about our medical ailments. I’ve
noticed this trend in all my conversations as I’ve aged. A much larger percentage of the chat is about health. Probably with good reason. My most recent complaint is about
back pain. Having had issues with knees, hips, shoulders, ankles and fingers throughout my life, I guess it was only a matter of time before my spine wanted to get some attention. It’s also made me think about dogs’ joints. There are few sadder sights than a dog, particularly a younger dog, limping along with bad hips and the like, unable to run around.
Joint problems are more likely in some breeds than others, and can be
part of their aging as well as ours, but there are ways to minimize or even prevent issues, including dietary measures. That’s why
we’ve written this article: Joint Pain in Dogs – Signs, Causes & Prevention It discusses the causes of and potential remedies for joint pain, from exercise to diet to supplements. My thinking is, every little helps — and your dog will appreciate anything you can do to make their life a little easier. Even if they never ask you about your aches and pains… Oh, speaking of dogs and watching films, I saw Anatomy Of A Fall recently. It's a fabulous movie and an absolute must-see if you want to witness one of the all-time great canine acting performances. I won't give any spoilers, just trust me.
