Hey,
I hope you're all set for the holidays.
You have
been specially selected for this particular email because you're a loyal and engaged subscriber. And so, in the spirit of the season...
I'd like to ask a favor of you.
The internet works in strange ways, particularly when you search for something. If you search "what's the best dog food?"
you'll see Dog Food Advisor at the top of your results. This is good.
However, if you search "is dog food advisor a good site?" or similar, you'll get some links to obscure pages that are out-of-date or full of misinformation.
We can’t change the search results, but you can update or correct those sites. So what I'd dearly love, if you have the time and inclination, is for you to go on them and add your experience and honest opinion of Dog Food Advisor.
The main ones are:
If you want to be armed with facts…
The site hasn't been owned or run by Dr. Mike Sagman for nearly two years. We have a
highly-qualified veterinary nutritionist on the team who checks all new reviews and Best Dog Food lists. The team, in general, is now larger and more 'professional' (this is nothing against Mike and his team, who did a fantastic job). We are not and never
have been paid to influence reviews — all food is reviewed the same way.
I know we're not perfect (who is?) but we do try our best for you and your dogs. So it feels
harsh that people see these often misleading links when they ask a perfectly reasonable question in a search engine.
Which is why I'm making
this my Christmas wish! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
