Hey,
Happy Wednesday! You’ll know the phrase “fighting like cats and dogs” and probably understand why it exists. You’ll also know “raining cats and dogs”, but you’re brighter than me if you know what lies behind that one.
My dog does not like cats — he’s such a stereotype — but I’m pretty sure he’s terrified of them too. If he’s on a leash or a cat is in our garden, he’s very brave
and will bark at them. But when he’s in the same room as one, he becomes more lamb than lion and won’t even make eye contact.
Obviously, some dogs get on just fine with cats. Sometimes they even
become best buds. This means many households include both species, often harmoniously. If you’re one of those, and you haven’t seen it before, I’d like to recommend our
sister site Cat Food Advisor. Like Dog Food Advisor, you’ll find reviews, ‘best’ lists, helpful advice, and you can sign up for recall alerts. And please tell any cat parent friends about it.
And for
those of you who don’t have a cat, there’s this related (and very interesting) article on a related topic: Can Dogs Eat Cat Food? That’s it for this week. I’ll be back next Wednesday.
