Hey, Happy Wednesday! If you've ever experienced acid reflux, you'll know how it can range from annoying to genuinely painful and debilitating.
I have a sliding hiatus hernia which has spent decades shooting burning acid into my throat like an evil internal geyser. Only daily medication prevents regular bouts of violent sickness and stomach pains.
At least I could tell my doctor about it and get it seen to. But a dog
can't tell you if this is happening to them. So how do you know if your dog has acid reflux? And what can you do about it?
To help, we wrote this article...
It looks at the symptoms of
acid reflux in dogs, the causes of it, how to treat it and — because this is Dog Food Advisor — what to feed a dog with acid reflux. I highly recommend reading it. You never know, your dog might have their own evil internal geyser.
