Hey, Happy Wednesday! February is Pet Dental Health Month.
When I wrote about it last year, I went on a big ramble about my fear of going to the dentist.
This year, I'm going to spare you the tidal wave of words and keep things short — because we've got two far more qualified people to speak to you on the subject of dog dental health.
They are veterinarians (and happily married couple) Dr. Ben Schroeder, DVM, and Dr. Erin Schroeder, DVM, famous as the stars of Nat Geo Wild's show Heartland Docs, DVM.
They are also both Education Partners for Wellness Pet Company, which produces some very good products, including Whimzees dental chews (which I've given to my dog for years).
So they're well qualified to answer our questions on dog dental health — and we've put what they told us in these two articles:
I hope you find them useful. It really is so important to keep those beautiful smiles healthy and avoid potentially serious, painful and costly medical problems.
